About
I'm currently a Post-Doc at the University of Maringá (Brazil). I am particularly interested in freshwater ecology, using aquatic macrophytes as a tool to test ecological concepts. My main researches deal about biodiversity, interactions between aquatic assemblages (e.g., macrophytes x fishes; macrophytes x invertebrates), invasive species and alternative states in shallow lakes. In general, my researches are developed in reservoirs, wetlands and in a large floodplain of the Paraná River. I also carry some studies using experimental approaches.
